Recently, we customized a scissor lift platform for a client in the Philippines who operates a large auto exhibition hall.
The client owns a showroom of over 5,000 square meters, divided into two floors. To address the challenge of moving vehicles between floors, the client initially considered several traditional solutions. However, after thorough evaluation, each of them was ruled out.
Solutions the client initially considered:
1、Concrete Ramp
Takes up a large area, severely limiting showroom space
Heavy structure with long construction time and high cost
Cannot be modified once built, making future adjustments difficult
Poor visual appeal, affecting the professional image of the showroom
2、Vehicle Hoisting (Crane or Forklift)
Requires manual labor and machinery each time, very inefficient
High safety risks, prone to accidents
High rental cost, not suitable for frequent use
Not ideal for high-frequency vehicle movement in a showroom environment
3、Vehicle Elevator Installation
Requires reserved elevator shaft and complex civil construction
Long construction period and high investment
May damage or alter existing building structure
Complicated maintenance, easily leads to malfunctions
